A wonderful article in TROUW explains why you help the sustainable economy if you choose rapeseed wax candles. Or at least NOT for paraffin or stearin.
Not only is it better for the environment (lower CO2 emissions), it has a nice, soft, atmospheric flame, but you also reduce the market for the sale of paraffin.
